Rob knows the area down there better than I do, but I am sure there are places to stay. If you can get the motorhome again you can probably camp at the field. They have water and electricity, but I am not sure about a sewage hook up.

I thought I had a guy lined up to do it that would be really awesome, and he has a lot of experience with orgainizing events and managing people. I will keep after him and maybe we can put a few Florida events together.

Right now we have to things on the table: We have been invited to TRAC in Tampa on Oct 2nd, and they will give us reserved pit space so we can all pit together, and some time for Extreme Flight demo flights. The next weekend there is a big electric event at MCRC in Palmetop (near Sarasota) that is two days, and we have pretty much the same deal. I am trying to convince Chris to come down for one of those.

We will see how it plays out, but I don't have the orgainizational skills to run any sort of owners club. I know the guy who does but I gotta talk him into it.

Congratulations Sam! I'm excited for you. - partially because I know that I'll get some stick time on it. You're going to love it!

The Scorpion 30mm motors fit the 48" EXP and 48" Vanquish V2 bolt patterns. One thing to be aware of is a Scorp 3020 motor is a little longer than the recommended Torque motor once the prop adapter is fitted, so there's a gap between the cowl and the back of the spinner if you use one. It's probably about a 10mm gap. The motor fits inside the cowl; its just that the prop adapter pokes a little further out. I don't bother with spinners though nac does and he uses the same motor as me since it's an awesome motor that handles high power without breaking a sweat. You need strong lipos to unleash the beast on an APC 12x6 . We tried Turnigy Nanotech 3S 2650 35c/70c lipos and they were a little disappointing. We then tried regular Turnigy 3S 2650 40c/50c lipos and they are awesome. They hold voltage very well right to the end of the flight whereas the Nanotech lipos were noticeably weak after about 3 minutes. If the battery is strong then you'll draw 65A-70A static. I've attached an Eagletree graph to show a static test of my EF MXS.

BTW I assume you're planning to run 3 cell and that's why you're looking at the Scorpion 3020-1110? If you're planning to run 4 cell then look at the Scorpion 3020-890. Both of these motors haul butt on an APC 12x6 .

I know about the coming 60" MXS and Extra 300 EXP.

But will EF expand the 70" series? I would love to see a 70" Edge EXP

How about some Yak 54's I have been looking all round for a good one under 60". Just shrink the 88" down and I will be happy....

90" EXP EDGE!!! SKORE! Now I would sell my Kidney for that one!!

Anyone have any idea about when they are going to receive another shipment of the 60" Edge EXP?
