Hey- there is room for a little humor, here isn't there? All in good fun. Actually, I think hon1er just improved his quality of life and charging capability, so I don't think he's in 'the market' any longer!

How's the hand?

I have 2 paraboards from epbuddy/buddy rc. the 30amp and the newer 40 amps. on the 30 I have to set the PL6 to XH and the 40 to FMA. I figured both would be XH. Im very happy with my PL6

i ended up with a powerlab 6 and 1300W PSU. i hated to go that route, money wise, but now i am sure glad i got it.
I have had quite a few hyperions and never had issues with them.

yea, i know a few people that have them that like theirs...from what i read i think alot of peoples problems had to do with the firmware updates.

Not so much in the Powerlab. YMMV.
Did you make those changes yet because that is all you need to do? Page 60 in the manual if you need it.

Ahh in that case. If it ain't broke I leave it alone. it does what i need it to do. Firmware upgrade can be a nightmare on any device.

That would be an expensive piece of junk

I love my PL6. The only thing better(to me)would be a PL8
Thank you so much! I looked and looked last year and could not find anything on this. Nobody around here has Powerlabs and I got out of most big electrics so I just went to using my 2 icharger 206Bs for all my needs. Also I had PC issues (I have macs and a locked down work PC laptop) getting the software to work. I just want to push a few buttons and charge, which the icharger excels at.

No problem dude.

I have never hooked my PL6 to the computer. Honestly, when i bought it i didn't even know it could do that. It does everything i need right from the charger though so i won't be hooking it up to the computer any time soon
