Just about everything is in Scott Stoops' book. Finding a copy is the problem.

Oh, and I believe on spoilerons and flaperons that Scott recommends a 50% mix to start with.

The link to this video is safe, but there's a lot of other stuff on this site you might not want to see. The video, though, is fairly awesome..........

Nice list. Can you describe these three here? I know the one KE Wall is when you perform a normal wall but add aileron and rudder in the middle of the maneuver in order to roll the plane 90 degrees to the original plane they were in. But I don't know the OTHER KE Wall.

Cascade?

Also, don't forget the ubiquitous waterfall or the Aneurism!

You can contact him directly, he might still have some old copies that are damaged but still very readable.

Well, I'm stumped. I have an elevator to spoileron and elevator to flaperon mix (ele->ail at +100, and -100). Works good for walls in real life and sim, and works well for tight KE spins in the sim only. But I couldn't get what you guys described. I'll have to play around with it some more based on some of the other ideas that were shared, but hopefully somebody who has actually done it will tell us.

You have the one knife edge wall.

The other knife edge wall is a knife edge, then full up or down elevator to turn 180 degrees abruptly still on knife edge and continue in the other direction.

Cascade: Straight and level at high altitude. Do a rolling half loop like a split S and return to level flight as soon as you get to the bottom heading in the other direction.

I like the cascade because it's really abrupt, gut wrenching as you're rolling at the ground, and stops on a dime heading the other way... I gotta work on that one.

I FORGOT THE WATERFALL! GRRR!!!

Aneurism? Ooo, do tell

Full throttle across the field, then slam both sticks in the bottom right corner. It'll do this sick end over end tumble.

There's a quick one at the 30 second mark and a lower one at the 1:11 mark:

Like a hard core snap that you just hold the inputs?

The Aneurism is something Chris H was explaining to me. Straight and level and you perform blender inputs, but you don't leave the sticks in the corners. I think you add the aileron input and instantly pull them back to neutral or slightly opposite. You hold the elevator down and I THINK you relax the rudder and then pulse the throttle. It causes a violent tumble when do correctly (I have not yet).

Yeah pretty much. Which way do our toilets flush? Do it the other way and it's an Aussie toilet bowl ... well, that's how Doc explained it to me

Ooooo, that sounds cool. I'll have to experiment next time out.

Oh, then I've made many of those. I call them "trying to break my plane" or "pissing off the old guys in the peanut gallery".
