She was born in around March of 2005 (she was a feral we had caught when she was a kitten so not real sure), so about 14 years old. She was definitely her 'own cat', but could be very loving when she wanted to.. I will most assuredly miss her..

Sorry for your loss Steve. I know a lot of people don't think much of cats, but my wife and I have had several over the years. Cats are more independent than many pets and in some ways easier to care for. We lost our last cat, a little female named Molly a little over a year ago. I still miss her. We've decided not to have any pets for a while so we can just pick up and go when we feel like taking a trip. But it's a lot different around the house without her.

I'm sure your Crissy had a lot better life with you than she would have had otherwise.

Really sorry to see that.

My heartiest suggestion is to go to the SPCA and rescue a nice kitten. Nothing better than puppies and kittens.

Thanks Bert..Yes, fewer pets makes things much easier sometimes (I.E. when it comes time to go on trips etc.), and I like to think she did, the life of a feral is not good. Your Molly was a very pretty cat.

Thanks Doc, but we still have two more Doc, so, no more.

I've wanted to tell you guys about this as soon as I heard about it, but I was sworn to secrecy. I just got the ok to post some pictures.

I have not seen the plane nor flown it, so all I have is conjecture. All the Boss told me for sure it that it's going to be "badass." The original 48" Extra EXP was so perfect from the beginning that there was really nothing to be improved except maybe use some stronger, lighter material. If you look at the photo, you can see the carbon through the canopy. There are probably some other improvements too, but all I have to go on is the photos. I'll have more information as testing continues, and I will pass on what I can.

It looks like the V2 retains the hardware from the original series, which is a good thing because it works. Essentially, it's probably going to build the same as the V1, but will have the self aligning stabilizer that takes out so much work.

With gyros making the smaller planes flying so much bigger, and affordable magic servos becoming more available in this size, my V1 is better than ever, so I can't wait to see how much better the V2 is going to be. This has always been my favorite, so I am utterly delighted she's getting another run.

The Extra just keeps on getting better, and so does Ashley.

Hey Doc, just having a little fun here.....and poking at you a little. But just so we don't get anyone else going....what you see through the canopy is probably composite material. I'm sure there is some CF rod and other graphite material in the construction, but I'd bet that the floor of the Extra is made from G2 composite. Big smile now....big smile.

Sure do love that color scheme.

I'm guessing the landing gear block is also of the latest design like in the 60". I'm sure the Boss pulled out all the stops on this plane.

Either way, I'm in for two ...... at least to start with.

Was a joy to reconnect with Ashley and catch up after not seeing her for a long time. She's as lovely as ever and such a sweetheart. Here are a couple more new models being modeled by THE Fly Low Girl:

Sure, same size and setup as the Slick and Edge, Xpwr 30, 12S. Probably end of summer arrival.

Just curious, but why are the canopies on the 4-5" planes tinted and the larger planes aren't?
