F4U Corsair: My Marines Dream Corsair!

This is my version of the MARINES DREAM FG-1D Corsair.

NOTE: The revised CG on the Corsair has changed from the original setting of 125mm to 85mm - 90mm.
I borrowed an illustration from Mike/RogueTitan on another way to measure CG on the Corsair.

Amazing work on your warbirds. I was wondering if I could get your oppinion. I'd like to make my AirField F4U 1430mm Foam Warbird fairly fast. I noticed that you were using the 50-55 580kv on yours. And I'm also considering this. But it's BIG and heavy. Did the extra weight with the 5S and weight of the motor address the tail heavy issues? I was also considering the SK42-60 500kv motor as compared tothe SK50-55? Which motor would you recommend and what size prop? If I have to add weight I'd much rather it be in size of battery or size of motor and not in dead weight. My goals would be to fly pretty fast enough to hang with its' Nittro 60size brothers if not faster and unlimited vertical.

But I'm undecided. It sounds like you have already been though a lot of this. now that you have the SK50-55 do you like it? What size prop are you using? Knowing what you now know would you have used a diffrent size motor? I've got both 4S 30C and 5S 3200 30c batteries and an 80A ESC. I'm just not sure which motor prop combo would suit me best for speed and vertical performance. Any help would be appreciated.
