everything looks good, except the speed control and the packs. the speed controls should be 30Amp. if you look at any 64mm size jet for sale, they all come with a 30Amp ESC for 3S packs. and you'll need two.........one for each fan/motor. I only saw one listed. secondly, your packs don't have enough mAh in them for anything decent in flight time. the bigger the better and get the highest C rating you can afford. if it were me, I would be getting a minimum of 2200-3000mAh packs with a 35-40C rating. the higher C rating will keep them cooler and the higher mAh will give you longer flight times. with a plane that big and lots of lifting surface, you should get the largest packs you fit in there. perhaps 4 packs total, or two per fan, wired in parallel. this'll double your mAh, while maintaining the same voltage. which equals massively long flight times. the best bang for the buck are the Nano-Tech packs from Turnigy. check them out.

as im on a tight budget and im starting off with two 64mm with a 4500kv motor and 7 bladed fans for the engine pods 2 and 3 then ill scale up to four 64mm ducted fans and two HK-SS30A - Hobbyking SS Series 25-30A ESC

if you are gonna go Turnigy packs, then go with the 2200's instead of the 1000's. there's only a couple of bucks difference in price. the other option is to see what's available on here, used. a lot of guys are selling 2200's for almost next to nothing. put a want add up, asking for them and see what replies you get. deffinitely don't get less than 30Amp ESC's. they will provide you with plenty of overkill for 64mm fans. off the top of my head, a 64mm will probably pull somewhere around 20Amps, so the 30's will give lots of overhead. again, you could put a want add for those too, if you are on a budget.

also check the Plush series of ESC's. they are damn near bullet proof. the Hobbywing are good, but the Plush are a bit better and the same price.

nah i only have 2 hobbywing is what i have lying about i was originaly going to order the 6a plush ones in from hobbyking

is that $87 for packs and ESC's, or just for packs?

oh, I see. that's what you have laying around. they'll work well for this application. check hobbypartz.com for their Blu Lipos, as well as hobbyking.

if you order servos from them, you can cut down on shipping costs and I believe they are about 3 bucks a piece for servos. maybe less.

if you join a swarm, you can often get several dollars off the suggested price.

what are you thinking for landing gear? do you want fixed, or retracts?

retracts but they have to look scale but still cheap
