I'm not sure the belt will be much of an improvement, one that small is going to be really fragile, probably much the same as the front pinion on the shaft version... Looks like they have a different motor though, seems to be outrunner, maybe they have cured the power issues...

we will see... new upgrade from the 4G6 basic. Thought WK offer a complete new microheli after the V120D03

Where did you get that info from?
I can't find it at walkera offcial site. Link please!

desertstalker's thinking is understandable, with tail gear saver mods.
I'm interested in mechanhical structure, how do they build belt driven tail into v120 size.

Why does walkera keep putting the tail control rod on top of the boom? I would have frequent blade strikes in a crash, bending the tail servo rod and breaking the ball on the tail pitch slider. If they put the rod on the bottom, the rod would be better protected and the servo case would be pointing up towards the rotor disc, this would help with keeping the weight closer to the rotor disc which should provide a better handling heli.

Hopefully xtreme releases a new boom block for their 4g6/v120d0x frame to accommodate the belt drive instead of the shaft.

Canopy looks much nicer and seems like they borrowed from Mikado's design.

I don't like how the tail pitch rod is at the top of the boom, in a boom strike with the blades you're going to cause more damage....

Looks like the battery has dual connectors, I would rather save the weight with the heli being 106g.
