I have owned 8 Dynam planes and the two gooniac is flying are my very favorites! Over 225 flights on my Dynam Cessna 182 (I refuse to call it a "SkyTrainer") and nearly 100 on the Cessna 310 (not a "Grand Cruiser").

Whatever you call them, they are great looking, very nice flying planes and a great value for their modest prices. I assembled my "backup" Cessna 182 recently and test flew it. It flys no differently than the one with over 200 flights logged on it. Looks like they're suprisingly durable, too.

They are awesome planes! I upgraded the motor in mine to a 1500 kv Rocket motor now and it is even more fun! I trimmed down the 10x4.7 to a 9x4.7 and it is even better now! The 310 is going to be in my hangar soon as well!

Hey guys, I was wondering I put a Gopro in my Dynam Cessna 182 will it be able to fly (assuming everything is left stock). Also how long are the light times on these things. And how big of a field do you need to fly in?

The height of the treelines near your flight zone are just as important as the size of the field itself. You need room to set up your approach. Trees also block your view of the sky. Empty industrial parks and residential developments near a large field are the ideal spots for outlaw flying.

Flaps installation will help the plane carry a load much better without forcing you to fly as fast. I used a keychain camera with good success, mounted under the wing above the struts. A GoPro might be a bit heavy and wind-resistive.

So heres a field I was looking at. Length is around 476 feet and the With is around 180 feet. Would it suffice? I understand there are trees on the bottom side and corners, but I don't think Ill be flying there much. I'll just try to fly in a box learning how to land. As for the GoPRO can I just mount it inside since the windshield is clear.

The windshield "looks" clear, but the thickness and curvature is inconsistent. It would be like looking through a decorative glass block, all cloudy and blurry. Also, you'll want to avoid shooting through the propeller, it looks horrible in videos.

A friend bought one on the spot today while at my field! Dang good deal! I was doing some RC bush flight with mine! There is another flier with a SR22 Skytrainer and we have a blast doing short field take offs and landings! These planes are just amazing!!

The hatch design somewhat limits pack size to the 2200 mAh range.

These are fantastic: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11911

I use sky lipo 2200's but I am sure that you may be able to fit just slightly larger 2650 mah packs in here with a lil persuasion. But even with my upgraded 1500kv motor I am getting over 8min flight times. No need to go above 2200...
