I got to fly at El Do today after lunch and there was strong lift everywhere. No need for a high launch - my kind of air.
But I spent 2+ hours on the 91 coming home so I need some time off before a return trip. Maybe Sunday.
Are we doing Jun's Task next weekend at El Do? The GMo task last week was more fun than I expected.
How about flying one day at Poway before IHLGF? Any TPGs interested?
We had a great day! Thermals everywhere. After a couple of 5 min flights, I decided to work on my foot work to show off in the International
My first step was toward the launch direction. Sometime, it is on the way of second step! After measuring carefully the "footprint", I have been stepping out around 30 degrees and the turn becomes more natural. No more tripping.
Thank you, Lex, Clay and Matt for more tips on launching. I've learned a lot.
