I would agree that when it comes specifically to the old Rodeo Park, it's best to let the GQF Club Board handle all contacts and negotiations with Maricopa County and the Town of Gilbert (if they ever get back involved again). For any other possible locations, everyone has pretty much been free to contact land owners to ask for use on behalf of the club.

As a side note, it's good to hear that there may be some positive progress on getting back to the landfill. Got my fingers crossed hoping for a good meeting with the County on Thursday!

Any updates.

Models airplanes are not illegal.
Maybe they might take an interest in model airplanes.

Its really not as spacious as you may think, Maybe nothing bigger than a park flyer, and you do have alot of traffic in the area. I personally would not fly there, and from my house it is only a short walk across the street.

I was by there the other day driving down Warner
and I thought it looked pretty big.
We all have smaller planes for an area this size.

Driving home from the alternate field a couple of weeks ago. I was driving down west on Elliot just past the freeway. I noticed on the south side all those cow farms cow are abandoned. Or at least they appear to be. Someone setup a new paintball field. I think there is an opportunity there.

That old dairy? Heck, if they let the paint-ballers there, maybe there is something for us. It has shade and fans It's NORMAL to be knee deep in BS at the field.......so we are use to it.

Spotters have the added responsibility for looking out for cow pies.

Cow tipping between flights would be a great time waster.

We'll be the first club ever to have goat spotters. Not spotters looking for goats, actual goats spotting for us.
