As far as the grainy video shows, it looks a lot like a rebranded CB100.

Hi all,
It's a top flybar. But, so what!? It hovers...OK, what else can it do? How's it do as speed?
It may be a gem.
It just reminds me of the promo vids of the ufo#8. Those didn't show how capable a craft it is/was.[It is a little rocket, puts a lot of helis to shame.] Just how stable it is.

regards,
Bill

Cool,
If I get one of these for the living room and a Flymentor or similar for my CP I won't have the chore of flying anymore.

Then I'll shoot some vid and play it on loop and sell my lipos!

I wish my original cb-100 flew 1/4 that well in hover.
Mine wont sit still at all.

Thanks for pointing out the similarities. But the head speed sounds much lower than the CB100 and seems to be more stable. If anything, the hover seems to resemble a Solo Pro but seems to fly around more precisely. The transmitter is probably different as well.

From the video, it certainly looks interesting. There is no fast forward flight seen but helis of this size are designed mainly for indoor use.

After upgrading HP-06 and 2.9 motor on my CB100 it seems to be overpowered. I fly my msr more and have since boxed it up.

Uh, I only said it looked like the CB100, this isn't the CB100 thread... ;-)

This heli might be worth the extra shift at work. Take a look at this link.

http://www.skyartec.com/miniheli.html

The TX is somewhat programmable. The gyro gain and throttle curve can be manipulated. I fly my MSR and a Spektrumized Solo Pro on the dx6i and have never found the need to dial in expo or utilize most of the advanced settings. However, I notice there are no dual rate settings advertised, nor are there any "advanced" swash links apparent in the pics of the swashplate. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if there are, in fact, dual rates built into the TX. I'll admit though, it is an ugly and cheap looking TX.

Also, take a look at the 4-1 board. It has the brushless ESC's built in, even though it comes with brushed motors, standard. To me, that means that the price point should be lower due to the brushed motors and that we'll save weight and space when we upgrade to the brushless motors of our choice. Also, the motors will be plugged directly into the 4-1, so no need to directly solder the wires onto the ESC to ensure maximum power flow.

A final thought, Skyartec is a cheap company. For the price, it might just be a great buy. As Air Vaca pointed out, it could be a jem. Sure, it will need tweaking, just like every other single heli (minus the Beloved Quark) but that is half the fun, right?

Judging by the weight it is more in the CB100 class.

Gotta love that "Chingish" description: "Player can set the parameter in LCD from the radio controller, which making the settings are more accurate and convenient."

It does look like to be more in the CB100 class, but Walkera has moved on with the V100

Depending on the price, it will more likely to come into competition with the Solo Pro, MSR, and the impending Trex 100.
