Mamo Models VPP Flight

I just wanted to share my VPP system with everyone. I'm so proud that I finally got this to actually work!

My setup is a milled Fancy Foam Yak 55m with:
Hacker A20-34s
Dualsky 12amp ESC
Dualsky 3s 300
HS-55 for the pitch and aileron
3114's for tail
Mamo Models VPP 8" blades
Spektrum DX7
And the AUW is around 6.35oz ≈ 187 grams

Thank you!

Certainly not lacing power with the 3S setup Pat.

I'm yet to try a 3s setup with the Mamo but I do have some TP 45c 3s 325's available to try

Awesome Pat, I have thought of using the Yak before but used a Morbach instead. ( 9" blade in center of plane). What is the radio you are using and what are the settings? I use a switch to change from regular flight to "idle up" reverse flight. Is that how you change to VPP as well? It looked very smooth the transitions. Nice flying.

I'm using the Spektrum DX7. Yes I use the 3 position switch on my radio just cause it's a good location for my finger to switch. And the settings are fairly simple. I still have to play around with the curves and stuff right now but so far its been excellent! Sorry for the low quality pics but that's the best I got right now.

Throttle Curves:
- Normal Flight Mode

- VPP Flight mode

Pitch Curves:
- Normal Flight Mode (Pitch is at full Pos.)

- VPP Flight Mode (Pitch Goes from Neg. to Pos.)

And here's the switch that I use to switch modes
