Haier HLT10 10-Inch Handheld TV, Black
I modified this one to bypass the Blue Screen

Selling for $75 shipped to CONUS.

The stuff around the edges is left over tape from a hood I had taped on.

I would love to tell you the info but unfortunately it has been to long ago that I did the mod to remember what was done. I would open it and look but it is already boxed up ready to go to a new home.

Thanks

Did you solder the AV cable into the vid output from the OSD chip? That may bypass the bluescreen bit if someone can figure out where to solder it to. Any clues you can think of would be helpful, I just bought one of these.

From reading elsewhere, you can most likely disconnect the output of the tuner and connect an input cable like his to where the output of the tuner goes.

I'm sure there's others interested in this mod as these TVs are showing up at bargain shops for cheap. They make excellent FPV spectator monitors.

Whoever purchased this item should open it up and share how the mod was done.

I think the easiest mod would be to install the cheap voltage OSD from Hobby King at the base station. This would keep a video signal going to the screen at all times. As a bonus, the video rx pack voltage and rssi voltage could be displayed.
