A TigerTail IV finished and flown a few weeks ago. It's set up in taildragger configuration (club field is heavy grass) with OS 91FS for power. So far I think it's the best classic pattern ship I've put in the air after many Dirty Birdys, Daddy Rabbits, etc. 6 lbs 13 oz.

King Kobra build in process

Hey Folks,
Here's a pic of my King Kobra in its current state of development. I haven't had much time to build this summer due to other house projects and so forth but am slowly but steadily plugging away. I'm looking forward to getting it in the air some time before the end of the flying season.

I'd love to see some pics. I'm thinking of doing mine up in an F-86 Jolly Roger scheme when I get to that point.

I built a King Kobra a few yrs ago. For some reason I decided recently to finish the final details. It is awaiting some time to fly. I will post maiden reports here.

Building an Ultra Sport 40 from a kit, I would think that counts, it is not even the ultra version.

Maiden flight was good. The plane required a hint of up elevator trim.
I love the sound of the webra. The plane is a little on the slow side. This is my first retract plane and I have run three tanks of low gear up fly bys. I did have a partial gear up landing on the third flight but it was my fault no damage. I have the a toggle set up as my timer on the other planes but for some reason I put the retracts on same switch. The King tracts straight and flys well. The T-38 Thunderbird color scheme lots great in the air.

I didnt have the room to bring home my old LFX-II, but in digging through the stash last weekend I found a nib Skyglass Sun Fly 4! I hoped to dig up more of the good old stuff, but I can only haul so many kits home every trip lol. If anyone is interested in the Sun Fly drop me a pm.
