Just picked up some Wemo micro fans and a HET 240-15 6000kv motor to transplant into some of my planes. Can't wait to get these in!

you'll need to fly it first and see the result. In a prototype A-7 that I designed for a kit, it wasn't needed. However, there was no anhedral on the wings and the correct dihedral on the horizontal stab. That probably had the effect of a more neutral setup. the JPower kit doesn't have any dihedral on the horizontal stabs and little, if any anhedral on the wings.

Flaps did work really well with keeping the nose down. And on landing they really helped out. This really is a plane that should have landing gear and take off from the ground though. It needs a super hard toss!

When you guys went from a 3s to a 4s, how did you rebalance your plane? I put in a new 4s 1300 and it is way nose heavy now. My 4S packs weigh like153 g and the old 3S about 122g.

It depends on the model. But usually you can move the pack further back. And sometimes they come out just a tad more nose heavy than with the 3s packs. Which plane are you referring to?

Not much room to work with in T-33. My 3S 1000mah are already all the way back. 4S just makes it more nose heavy. I don't fly that plane on 4S anymore. It has a weird tendency to nose down right at launch when nose heavy. On the other hand, 4S gives plenty of power for you to point the nose more vertical so it will smooth out into straight flight before nosing towards the ground.

My T33 balances nicely with a 1000 mah 3s Zippy in the rear of the batt area.

It had a launch impact at full power a few months ago which left 1 blade on the rotor(almost did the job good Dude!) Replaced with 6 blade unit from Don's but smoked the Esc so now running a 30a unit. Clocked at 75-80kph and handles real nice. Seem to be getting the launches better now which takes the out of the flight.

I have used 4s in mine from the beginning. Yes it is at the more nose heavy side of things but you can launch it at a 30-45 degree angle with 3/4 power and it just flies away. It won't dip at that power setting.

Maidened my Blue Angels a4 today in way too windy (15mph) condition (at least for me). Don't know how I managed to save the launch but I did & made me look great saving it! Flew very well given the wind so very happy w/ it.

Just received kits of T45 and L39 from HK and a 1000mah batt...
found a packing slip / invoice .

now I accept that a profit $$$ needs to be made but CRIPES!!...
Slips shows ....mini EDF fighter kit --unit price --$6.20
both kits and 1000mah 3s 25c pack -- unit price --$1.63

HOLY CRIP showed shipping at $7.75usd

I paid MORE!......

does this sound right to you who have business es
and not horribly marked up ?
I guess I thought a biz markup was in the 30 -50 % range not
in the 300 -500% range

Disregard those amounts. That was just for the Customs invoice. HK always makes the costs seem rediculously low to avoid high customs fees.

Not really anything new to report except another update from Jalin yesterday that I should receive samples of the deltas in the next few weeks.

Also new 35mm Micro EDFs: F18, F16, T45 ....AND .....A10 and Mig 29!!

If you follow the Sky Angel mini warbirds .... A1 Skyraider and Sea Fury are also due in soon
