Figured it out. V-tail mixing did it on the DX7

My son says it's called "delta mixing" on the DX -7." V tail " mixes rudder and elevator. So you would have to use both sticks to fly it

Hey guys...I was wondering if anyone new how to find air frame for sky angel F9F i had a couple of pretty bad crashes...I remember a guy posted a direct link to f9f kit on HK site but i can't seem to locate... went to HK and not sure how they have it listed...thx

My F-16 was nose heavy in stock configuration. My Center of Gravity is at +70mm and I moved the fan back a considerable distance, relocated the ESC in the ducting and this allows me to balance a number of packs, moving them forward or aft as needed. The plane travels flat and true but can approach landings in a high alpha with persuasion from the elevator. Here are some pics that might help illustrate how I did it. Best wishes.

You are correct. My friend programmed it for mesaying one thing but actually doing another.

My F-16 is waiting to be built. Toooo many projects!

Haven't decided on the 3s or 4s Wemo/HET setup yet. Either way it should be a little rocket.
Be sure to add a 75% FSA thrust tube if ya really have the need for a bit more speed.

We currently have the HET motors on sale.

I never belived that saying, if there is a tree or some other obstacle in your airspace you are bound to hit it eventually.

Well, I finally hit the high voltage pylon wire in my flying field. Managed to keep the AMX in the air and landed safely. Looks worse than it is, now I got to repair it with something. maybe glass and resin?
Oh, and I can confirm, styrospray 1000 does crack on impact

I maidened my L-39 Albatros today, outside temperature -5C, wind calm, perfect for maiden flight...It is EXCELENT FLYER, I LOVE THIS JET...My setup: inrunner motor http://www.himodel.com/electric/5828...F130-2030.html from HiMODEL, this EDF: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...inch_50mm.html with Turnigy Plush 30A ESC and battery Turnigy nano-tech 3S 1300 mAh 35-70C which perfectly fit to the front of the fuselage under canopy, RTF weight 380g but I had to add 5g metal weight to the front of the fuselage because of CG, output power from edf more than 290W, for level flight is sufficient 40% of power. Landing is pleasure...ENJOY video...

So maidened the t45 after I glued her back together after my big crash. I put 4 magnets on the fuselage and 4 on the main wing and it held on good. (I haven't tried inverted flying yet) I also put my control linkages on top of the main wing and put in the HX900 servos in to replace the jittery stock ones. I tried out my new sky lipo 3s 1600mah 40c packs and it made the plane nose heavy but flyable. So good day flying with decent weather. Grey sky with ESE 13mph winds. Love how visible this plane is in grey skies. I have the t45 kit with a 50amp ESC I'm still deciding what to put in that. I think I may stay with 3s and go with the wemotec edf unit and 4800kv motor from don. Will this setup be fast?

That looks like a good power set up! Plane flies wonderfully! What surprised me the most about the L-39 is how slow it lands! I may have to try one of those motors in the 8 blade 50mm housing that I have.

Also you may want to just get a battery that is 5g heavier rather than adding the weight. I just moved my battery further forward and that helped.

Mine is 2 years old now and I usually fly it about 3-4 times per weekend. Still love it and always put on a great show with it!
