I just finished the L-39, too, with GWS micro retracts.......

L-39 retracts (photos and video)

OK, I'll give this a try.

The pics should be pretty easy.

The video, however, is something I haven't tried to post before. I took it with an old camera and it's dark and grainy, but it DOES show them working.
It looked like the video clip "attached". If not, I'll try again.

GWS micro retracts, nosegear is a converted main gear and is NOT steerable. They are mechanically driven by E-flite S75 sub micro servos. I slowed the speed down with the transmitter.

Final weight is 13.5 oz, and that includes 1/2 oz of noseweight to get the CG within the recommended range. I was unable to put the battery far enough forward because of the nosegear retract servo.

Wow, that looks really nice!

For the video you'll either need to upload it hear in the videos section, then post a link, or upload to YouTube or Vimeo and link it to your post above.

I spent a little time at the AMA show this morning .. Pete had some new samples from Jalin, including the 30mm Mig 15 and F-86, the twin 50mm SU34 (I somehow missed the twin 50mm A-10) and a new series of smaller war birds that Jalin will soon be releasing

notice the control horns are on top of the wings on the planes.... maybe this will follow in futur 50mm edf's?

looks like Jalin is following these threads and taking feedback.

did anyone happen to see if they by chance updated the fan units on the unreleased 50mm's?

30mm jets

I wonder if those little 30mm planes will be light enough and slow enough for indoor flying? Or will they need just as much speed to fly as the 50mm ones? I'm always looking for something interesting to bring to the indoor arena besides the ubiquitous Parkzone micros.
