Stevens Aeromodel Shaft .25e (Big One) Colorado Springs

I am putting up for sale my Stevens AeroModel Shaft .25e this is the bigger of the 2 shaft models. SHAFT stands for "Super High Performance Aerobatic Flight Trainer". This is an excellent flying aircraft will fly fast or slow (clocked it at 58mph) It will land at a near stop speed.

It has some neat features that make it a great plane for flying off any flight surface. The landing gear is rubber-banded to the fuse and acts like a shock absorber so any rough terrain is nothing for this bird!

You might ask why I am selling it. I have put at least 30+ flights on this plane and I love the way it flys. I have just outgrown the airframe. Background story is that this was my first coming back airplane. I had flown nitro for 15 years and this was my first delve into electrics. Not to brag but the build quality is professional I spent serious time in the build and covering of this plane. Stevens AeroModel makes the best Laser Cut kits I have ever seen!

This plane is also super light weight, I covered it in AeroFilm which is a flexible lightweight covering.

Plane weight is as follows:
Wing with Servos - 215g
Fuse no battery - 524g

Total Weight without battery - 741G (26oz)

I was flying with a Hyperion 3 cell 2100mah which weighs 166g which brings the AUW to 32oz

This plane has PLENTY of power and can launch from your hand without throwing it!

Hand Launch Shaft (1 min 13 sec)

Shaft 25e Fun Fly (3 min 24 sec)

Here are some stats on the plane:
Wing Span (in.) 52
Wing Area (sq. in.) 600
Length (in.) 45
Flying Weight (oz.) 32
Loading (oz. / sq. ft.) 7.7
Wing Cube Loading 3.8

What is included is:
  • Steven's AeroModel Shaft .25e (Retail $125)
  • Hacker A30-16M (Retail $60)
  • Castle Creations Thunderbird 54A (Retail $50)
  • 2x Hitec HS-81 for Rudder/Elevator - 2x Hitec HS-82MG (Retail $60)
  • Misc Building Materiels (Full Rolls etc $40)
That puts the retail total at $335 (minus labor)
I do not expect to get that. I would love to sell this to someone who would enjoy it as much as me.

I would say that $200 is a fair price for a local pickup.

If you want to have me ship it, I am confident I can get it there safe with the fact that the horizontal stab is removable. Price would have to be negotiated as I have no idea what that would cost.

Any questions just ask!

Its a great plane for sure, I dont think it would be that difficult to ship if need be.
