If true, you may want to rethink the castle ice lite 100 amp ESC as stated by Joe. Smoke is an ugly site...

i don't think with that power level there will be a problem since it will only be on off .i have smoked a cc125 on a 3Kw before but i am not worried about 1400.

Builder of sailplanes/pylons?

I will take down your info. I have a builder in CA, but sometimes he is backed up.

I will keep you in mind. Do you have detailed pics of your builds?

I have pics on my Facebook. I build all gliders except Dlg and am building a vanquish f3a ship. I build anything someone wants done.
My pricing from now until the end of the month for the Southwest classic is $170. If I have to do any thing special then there will be a small extra fee like a custom wiring harness.

I am new to the forum as well as to high tech sailplanes. I have a Orion coming from SUSA. I have been viewing all the build threads and hopefully I will have good results. However, I do have a question regarding wiring everything up and correctly. Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing how to correctly wire the six servos, battery pack for the receiver all correctly to the dean plugs? Nowhere in any of the build threads do I find this information. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated....thank you

I forgot an item....sorry. But also how the on/off switch is wired too. It has been almost 30 years since I have built a model so, my apologies for possible stupid questions.

There are no stupid questions on this forum.

It would be helpful to know what radio system you are using, what motor, what speed control (ESC), what motor battery, and if you intend to use a separate (switched?) Rx battery or a separate BEC run from the motor battery.

Lots of ways to skin a cat but given the above maybe we can help.

Dick
