LOL, I guess those Extra guys are really good because, well, they fly Extras.

Everyone knows it takes a better pilot to fly one... didn't you know that powerlines?

lol... using that logic, any plane that takes more skill to fly stuff is more 'advanced'. I should go buy older design planes since they take more skill to do even the basic stuff compared to the current ones.

Imho, there isn't a more 'advanced' airframe in current 3d lineups of most companies. There are DIFFERENT airframes which translates to different flight envelops which translates to aircraft that fly differently and do certain things very well.

But I think we're splitting hairs here. The MXS, Extra and Edge all do many things well with 1 or the other edging the others out in a very limited fashion.

I personally like Edges because they look cool, fly well, and cater to my flying style (3D). Extras, although still extremely capable of 3D, are also designed with a wing that is better suited for high speed and precision areobatics than the Edge wing. This makes it slightly more difficult to fly certain maneuvers that the Edge with its straight leading edge would perform with less skill. However, the Extra will excel in other areas where the Edge may fall behind. Regardless, they are both great designs, and are easy to fly, but it comes down to personal preference and individual flying style in the end. I like the edges, the extras are awesome too.

I flew the new scheme for the first time today (3 flights, actually). It was much easier to tell orientation. The yellow at the front of the wing pops against the sky, but the white (EDGE 540T) pops at the rear of the wing, enable better determination of aspect.

On the bottom, I have two pretty large Extreme Flight logos as well- which will look great when I torque roll it. I need to put something on the SFG's. Currently they are 'naked', but the JR sticker I have at the top of the rudder stands out so clearly, I may look for something similar on the SFG's. The EF Rondels will work well as well, I believe. They will add some depth with the SFG's on.

I am very happy with how these graphix turned out. Nice job B & E!
