Im using the 225's on everything except the elevator. I have a TGY-390DMH on the elevator. The Turnigy is very smooth and centers perfectly. I dont have a problem with the 225's either...you really dont need digitals.

Can I glue to this?

I need to glue my Stab back into the fuse after removing. There is CA still on the stab as well as some covering. Can I just stick the stab back in and glue, or do I have to clean all of this out? If I have to clean it that is gonna be one arduous task I'm afraid

I have 225's from my donor plane and will use those. Once I get a few laps on it I may upgrade one or two.

After being out of this for a couple years I have had to get a new charger for my 5s, new CA, new Epoxy, and the connectors are different, and different extensions.... still have not flown.

The arms are Futaba. Dubro makes some super strong arms for Futaba splines.

Im using a Hangar 9 Aluminum SX 1.5" Futaba arm on mine. Im hooked into the next to the last hole.

I believe the Dubro ones are these:

The alum arms are $6.28 at wholesaletrains.com
http://www.wholesaletrains.com/Detail.asp?ID=200827661

So about $25 for a set vs $12 for the Dubro. When you go to a larger plane....the alum arms will go with you.

If you go the alum route...the ailerons are 1" ($5.52 ea) and the elev and rudder are 1.5"

They do come with the hardware for ball links , so you wont need to buy anything else.

Although I love Savox servos in general these will have blowback issues. At least on the stock BEC voltage. They center great and work well but blowback at speed kills them for me in this application.

The JRs center great, have more torque than the Hitec or Savox servos but also will suffer some blowback at very high speeds. This is a good option and if speed and centering are of utmost concern I think they are the best choice.

The Airtronics have the most torque and center as good or better than the JRs. They have zero blowback at at any speed but they are the slowest in speed. I can personally attest to the ATXs being bulletproof in this plane and I have been very happy with them.
Anyone know where I can get longer arms preferably aluminum for the Airtronics 94820? Is this a 23T spline? no one seems to say

Dubro sells A set of HD arms for the ATX. Tower has them. Have not seen aluminum but have not looked either

Yep, Dubro makes a set specifically for ATX and the JR aluminum 1.5" arms with clamping splines should work too.
