Nice job on the plans... guess you aren't in need of my help any more in that respect.

Been putting off a corsair because I heard they were hard to fly, but this one should fly more friendly. Looks great too.
Thanks Larry,

I'll always need your help. We started out in this hobby together and remain best of friends. Lots of fun and great memories!

Thanks for your kind comments and for building my models. With all the respect you have here it is a real compliment when you build my designs.

Thanks Hank,

I can't wait to see your build.

Don't forget to post some pictures.

I hope I'll see many of these little guys built.

This is a nice looking plane. It flies very well. I bet you could do a whole series of WWII fighters in this cute fattie style.

Thanks RG, It fly's great and looks good in the air. I did do another one that looks good. The Bee Gee Senior but haven't put any radio gear in it.

With your creativity I'll bet you could come up with all kind of planes. I would love to see you use this style and go for it!!! I know how much you love fatties.

If you do, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks
Dalton

BTW, snowing here in the south!!!! White Christmas!

Hey Rusty,

Here are a couple of pictures of what I threw together. The first one (Without the cowling) I couldn't decide where to put the battery etc. So I made the second with the open cockpit for the battery. This can be covered with foam and make open cockpit with windsheld or closed canopy etc.

I read your thread about poor eyesite and I have the same problems. I've had cataract surgery and all that stuff so that is why I build and fly these close in type planes.

What do you think of these?

Thanks Tymdrewolf,

I don't know how I missed seeing your post, may be the eyesite is worse than I thought.

I do really appreciate the kind remark. I hope Santa brought you lots and lots of RC stuff?

I do enjoy toon fatties, its what got me into foamies, but I;ve put all building on hold until summer. I got burnt out on it again. Right now my reading interests are currently with coroplast nitro planes. I've got one coming in, too. I'd like to convert my Ozone Retro Racer to coroplast/nitro by spring as my next project, so I;ve been studying up on this stuff.

Yeah, I read where you were going to take a break but I was hoping you had got bitten by the scratchbug again.

Good luck with the bigger plane. Post a link and we'll look in on ya.

Good luck Magic. Be sure to get your C/G correct. Could be tricky with the short nose.

Great looking plane! We'll be waiting to hear how it fly's.

Thanks for building and posting the pictures of it.

I'm at SEFF but will be home tomorrow night, I'll check in then.
