When is the jet being released to be sold by different vendors?

Also, are the retracts build strong, and how are the hear doors attached? I'm just hoping the gear doors are attached without the method of a string like LX models, but more like RC Lander who uses spring loaded gear doors.

Thanks.
Thank you
This is a EXCEED-RC products.
You know where you can buy, their price is very good.
Contraction is digital, I believe you will be satisfied.
Need to install the door yourself. According to your own thoughts.

Tilt is the only way.
In order to maintain scale.
Reduce the turning angle, can be effectively avoided.
Tilt is what I was hoping for, otherwise it would need a widened base like the "pregnant goose" tomcee mentioned to widen the track - not pretty.

Is it too late to change the e-tract mount base on the mould for the tilt?

Finally a scale looking 2 seat Super Hornet! Fortunately you kept the previous paint schemes (Diamondbacks & Jolly Rogers) of real F/A-18F squadrons. Great job Andy! I'll be buying one as soon as they become available.

Here's a turbine one with slightly more detail and I imagine costs slightly more than the Exceed.

I'm a huge fan of this design... Looks fantastic and I'm very happy to see a modern U.S. fighter jet get the electronic retract treatment in a 70mm size. I recently bought the 90mm eRC Super Hornet that Hobby Lobby carries, and it has come up short of my expectations for various reasons. I much prefer the 70mm size here, and the retracts have been done very well, it seems.

Very interested to know the pricing and timeline for release on this jet, as it will probably influence my Black Friday purchase budget! I'm guessing price will be similar to Nitro's 70mm Mig that also has the e-tracts, but there's no way to be sure.

I got the nitro 70mm mig-15.
really like the e-retracts on their mig-15.

Will get their F-18e soon as it is available :-)
as the video says there will be: kit, ARF, RTF F-18E...
great.

Thanks a lot Andy. So, exceed rc is different than starmax? I thought they were the same. This is great news though, because this F18 seems to fit everything I want. I can't wait to get a chance to fly it.

Do you know what kind of foam it is made out of?

Looks nice. Really like those retracts. Also like Tony's videos because of his honest commentary. What are the dimensions of this plane and will it come in airframe / ARF version?

Nice really like the fact that it comes with retracts , I`ve flown the first version with no retracts , the gear hanging in the wind , but flew nice the plane is very docile , I would imagine this one will be the same .

Andy left/was let go from starmax about a year ago i think, now hes working for. started A-rc, which if you ask me looks like hes partnered up with J-power ( would explain the 50mm "exceeed" j power edf's ), but i could be wrong.
starmax is garbage products, Im glad Andy's designs aren't ruined by starmax manufacturing anymore.

That is REALLY good news because Andy is one heck of a talented rc airplane engineer. He is much to good for Starmax. Every starmax plane I have had or have seen others have always had more quality control issues than other brands of rc products of nearly the same price. Also, starmax's retracts are a friggin' nightmare.

Thankfully, it looks like we don't have to worry about all that with this jet and Andys new products. Thanks Andy, and keep it up!!!

Weird, there was already a thread on this plane and you even posted to it and then started a new one.

To be fair the other thread was about the original 70MM F-18. It somehow got side tracked into the new F-18 once the VID was posted.
