I think its what $38.95 per year to be an Electron member. Not worth it in my eyes...

Not worth it unless you order stuff. You save a bit on prices....but free shipping on everything. Need a $1 item....free shipping. I save several hundred a year.....very worth it in my eyes (only cuz it works for me).

ehobbies was selling them on the Amazon.com website a couple days ago for $129.99. yep, the UMX Beast for $129.99. but they sold out fast. it was posted in the UMX Beast thread.

because they dont advertise below the MAP....
MAP - or Minimum Advertised Price is only to help make it equal for all shops in getting people to your store or site. After you get the person there you can sell for what ever profit you want

But it's on their website at $152 which is far below the MAP price of $169. If I understand correctly, you can put whatever price you want on your website, just as long as you don't "market it".

yup pretty much. The websites that change the price after you put it into the cart have a searchable price of at least the MAP. The ones that have a price that is lower right on entering a web site you shouldn't be able to search or find advertisements for that low price

yeah it was actually against map policy, even though it was a sale it was on one specific item and it was advertised, they still have them for 10% shipping is great and the guy is always availible for questions, im sure it is a privatly owned hobby shop, so the guy cares about what he sales and his costemers
