200 watt Lipo Chargers? any good ones out there?

....just looking around to for some easy to use
200watt Lipo chargers.... I have a 3s-6000mah Lipo
to charge....my charger is currently a 50watt and
it takes about 1.5hrs to charge at 4amp.

must have AC power.

Just looking for a safe, reliable charger that wont break the bank.

No such thing. Most chargers with AC power supply built in are 50 watts or less . There are perhaps a few with 80 to 100 watts but that is it to the best of my knowledge.

Bite the bullet and get a power supply. You can get some pretty good buys if you search for server power supplies. I got two 12V 55 amp supplies for about $30 delivered (thanks EveryDayFlier). Check the FMA PL8 forum in the Vendors section. There are a couple of guys in there that have the ones I got and some different ones too. You will have to do a search on that thread to find them.

At the same time check out the PL8 charger. You were asking for 200 watts. The PL8 is just a bit bigger than that but it will server your needs very well.

Bite the bullet and get a used computor power supply for nothing with a little effort or a few dollars with less effort. There are litterly thousands of them sitting around in obsolite and junk computors.

A plus is in my opinion is quality wise they are as good or better than expensive supplies unless you go really expensive. Not much of something for almost nothing left in this world. Those used computor supplies are one item though that come in a self contained enclosure that qualify in my opinion.. Read articles on this site on how to make it meet your needs.

I believe almost anyone can do what is required.

Here's a nice basic 300 watt charger with everything except the built-in AC:

If you don't want to mess with a PC PSU, this one is good, and it's small and quiet:

The Bantam e-Station BC8DP AC/DC is an option. 100W with AC input, 200W with DC input. I believe shipping if free with order above $150.

The Bantam BC8DP is a very good charger but at $260 very expensive.

An ic106B+ and P350 together are only $170 and provide 250W/10A output compared to the 100W/10A you get running the BC8DP from AC.

An ic206B + P350 gets you 300W/20A for $210. Still $50 cheaper than the Bantam but providing vastly more flexibility for charging at high-C rates or multiple packs in parallel.

I used to think like you but after looking things over came to the conclusion there wasnt any 200 watt ac charger and while bantam is I guess able to do so at 260 bucks you have much better options.

if your always going to use smaller lipos 3 s and under you can get a lot of ac chargers .thunder power bantam etc.but I just went to ep buddy ad got a 208b with a meanwell psp 600watt 27v.thats alot but I am moving beyond 4s packs and also want to do alot of mutli charging to save time.

if you get a 106bIcharger and the matching 350PS you wont regret it and will give you many many options and reliability.I'm very pleased.
