Test flight 2. That repaired wing is rock solid and I learned that the RP is a lot of fun in the wind.

Late to the group and powered gliders. Actually just finding out they are cool, lol. Been flying for years, helis, planes , and quads. Anyway, looks like this bird is discontinued, are there any out there with all the same features that are really available? Thanks

If you want ailerons, look at the Conscendo Advanced, that is probably more up your alley if you are worried the regular Radian will be boring, the RP really isn't any more entertaining than the regular Radian, it's just a really competent Full House trainer. The Conscendo A is a warmliner and quite aerobatic. |

but by downloading the manual, and finding what parts were required, I searched the web and was able to find and purchase all the parts to make the model that I wanted. Appears Modelflite in Australia has all the parts available for the Radian Pro. My Radian Pro is good fun. Good luck. Regards from downunder Keith |

It's almost assuredly cheaper to buy the EF Radian, a set of RP wings and raid the parts bin for 4 9g servos and some horns & pushrods than to put together an RP from parts. |

I created a 3D printable mod that makes the wing bolts screw in from the top of the plane instead of the bottom. This helps prevent damaging the wings/rudder with it flipped on its belly at the field. You can also drill out the plastic on the brass nut side to use screws longer than 20mm. It isn't a print n play solution though, it requires a little bit of cutting into the air frame but it is 110% worth it and is how it should have been designed in the first place. If there is interest, I can mod my mod to accept the larger nylon thumb screws so you do not have to take a screw driver to the field |

assume the positionQuote:
I always set all my planes on the ground upside-down, nose-to-wind, with the wing at a negative angle-of-attack due to the vertical fin holding the rear fuselage off the ground. It is the most stable position. Steve |

Any of you ever shoot onboard video from your RP?
Sloping a hill near my hometown. Only one way in & out, so landings can be a bit hairy:
Surfing some strong lift at the club field. Was enough lift that you didn't need to be good! I think I could've thermalled my .60-size Ace Bingo! :
Smooth air at the club field. Just gliding around:

Gorilla original or white. Aileen's Craft Cement (a Vinyl white glue), any 30 minute or longer epoxy. Hot melt also works if you add some mechanical strength (carbon fiber or bamboo dowels).

I recommend Beacon Foam Tac. It's the best foam adhesive I've ever used: http://www.beaconadhesives.com/product/foam-tac/
