Very cool! Got one of these brewing myself . I'm sure Sidney will love seeing this build.

I am kind of curious, can I get a measurement from the floor to the top of the cowling around the main shaft? Trying to get a size comparison between the .50 size and the .30 size

I've watching your build at RR also. Will you be turning the t/r to the left side like the full size one? Can you show detail how you raise the "stand or mount", more interest of the dimensions.

Iím making templates now for the flooring and batteries and cabin mounts. Iím using balsa wood and when I get it right I will transfer over to aircraft plywood.

I plan on using two batteries in series for an 8cell power supply.

I will transfer all the templates over to a work doc as drawings

tail rotor

Not sure yet the century fuse has it on the right side so for this model I may leave it there

I have switched the rotor side before on another scale ship and it's not hard to do but on this fuse I would have to do a bit of glass work on the tail.

Maybe someone else can give their experience if the have changed the tail rotor side.

I was considering switching mine...but I'm thinking of leaving it as-is. Seems like a lot of work I'm not ready to do. As you are painting yours also, that could be a future mod for it should you want to...paint should be easy to match

Balsa wood templates

I'm using two 4 cell for an 8 cell power supply so I'm building battery holders on either side.
