Welcome to the SVSS Club Forum

SVSS (website) is an AMA Chartered Club (2752) whose purpose is to promote the safe and skillful flying of radio controlled gliders and electric powered planes and to encourage fellowship, friendship and the exchange of information among R/C enthusiasts. Our club was founded in 1989 and has more than 100 members of all ages, abilities and from all walks of life with a common interest, building and flying radio controlled gliders and electric powered planes. Membership is open to the general public. SVSS general membership meetings are held at the SVSS field. They follow the nine monthly club contest on alternate months beginning in March. If the club contest is postponed so is the meeting. Our meetings are open to the public and visitors are always welcome and encouraged to attend.

A monthly contest is held at the club field at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday of the month from March through November. For more information about our club, flying field, and event calendar check out our website.

Forum Guidelines
Only hard and fast rule is no personal attacks. This forum is open to both club members as well as guests. If you are new to this sport, live in Northern California and have questions, feel free to participate with us. Good flying!

Awesome Chris

Chris--this is simply a great idea for our club. It should provide a forum for us to pick each other's brains about our favorite sport, and provide updates to each other about new happenings in field of thermal duration gliders. Major kudos to you. Let me know if I can help out on this. Mike

Chris,

Good idea I did not know RC Groups had a club section.
