With all this talk about motors cooking firewalls etc. I have this motor on my shelf, (not from a previously enjoyed plane). Would this work as a replacement to the stock cooker ?

Hi skyhawk Newbie,
It's easy to reverse the shaft on these motors. I might have to wait till I get the plane to see what's going on. My grandmother's father came from County Cork. I've never been there, but looking at your on board camera it looks beautiful. I'll keep reading the thread. It's starting to get cold around here so basically flying is done till I go to Florida for Jan. & Feb. Pat |

I've got a little puddle under me, and all I was doing was watching it on YouTube He must have a significant amount of "control" authority to even contemplate contemplating something that risky, but even so... The CF helmet was a nice touch. Be a shame to pulverise an expensive bit of kit like that into its constituent fibres. |

I used water based poster paint ( Art shop/store ) if your in the states theres H2O spray paint... no the stock spinner will not fit,, You'll have to get a 45x4mm alloy spinner ( HK ) https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idproduct=5565 The 2836 1000kv motor is rated at 300watts , so you have to keep it under that, best use a 9x6, but Hobbyking don't sell 9x6 , do sell 9x5 props.. https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=7982 .. |

The 10x6 prop WILL burn your motor out as the watts will be over 300w.. . |

I was searching through this topic, but I haven't found the answer to my questions. Is there a possibility to simply fit 2.6m wings from Phoenix Evolution to the fuse & the rest of the Phoenix 2000 EPO? I own Phoenix 2000 from HK and I really love this glider, I have flown it alot last summer, it thermals great with my setup (stock engine & prop, 40A Turnigy Sentry ESC, 3S 2300mAh LiFe A123) but has one drawback - after some time when you get used to flying it 2m is becoming quite small (you want to fly higher, but the visibility of the model makes you quite nervous during good thermal weather). I came across Evolution version which is 2,6m and thought that it would be great if I could simply use the wings from the bigger version. So my questions are simple - will it fit to the fuse of 2m version, and if it will, than where can I buy wings alone without the rest of the kit?
