Defo think I'm gonna go for the Aurora 9 2.4GHz Transmitter, with Optima 7 Rx for my Phoenix 2000 and buy a extra Optima 9 Receiver for the new glider I'm buying..

Red on the Left ... Yellow on the Right...

Did try a 10x5 prop on my Turnigy 2836 1000kv(someone on the HK reviews say its a 1250kv) motor rated at 300watts,but using the 10x5 prop I was getting readings of 400+ watt's off my Watt meter on WOT....

It does not matter. You will not be able to see stickers that small at 500 feet no matter what color they are, but of the two red is the best.

For maximum visibility paint the entire bottom of the wing black.

To clarify the visibility issue a bit:

The visual acuity of a human eye with 20/20 vision is about 0.0035 inch at a distance of 1 foot. That translates to 3.5 inches at 1000 feet. If your plane's visibility marks are less than that your eye will not be able to pick them out.

Furthermore, the ability to discriminate color at long distance is greatly reduced so do not depend on color to signify orientation.

As already said, color does not matter. You will not be able to distinguish a fluorescent color from any other color at distance. Use any DARK color.
