iron block


during assembly I found this iron block pop out from this glider.... where did it come from ???? would someone do some checking please... roughly around 50gram of weight. hehehe..

Great post, acuamie! I don't know where the metal part came from, but I think it might be the balast in the front?

Thanks for sharing these pics with us. The FMS clevises seem the way to go. Do you have a link for them?

Never got that with my Phoenix. .

But as said , , it could be a balance weight if you don't fit a motor...


Or if you ordered from HobbyKing...


It could be the "Long Wait"....

BarnOwl : i dont say that fms clevis better. the best is using the linkage stopper. post #25 or any good clevis can take 1.2mm diameter linkage rod can do. JUST DONT GO STOCK CLEVIS

HAD ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE METAL PART CAME FROM.... PLS... GONNA MAIDEN TOMOROW... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

i've noticed few of use put some weight at rear. and maybe that counter weight used when not using motor..... maybe this latest production that i purchased (20 march 2011) coming with this weight install. hahaha... blurrrrrr......

Have you fitted the motor...

If so , you wont need the weight....

Just spotted it's Not a Phoenix 2000....

the only diff is evolve. 1.6m or 2.6m. The rest still the same motor, size n everything. And same problem too. Haha.

doesn't say anything about the balance weight( if it is that)
and he get's his from the factory...
