We just got back from True Grit. If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out. Better than the original.

Had to drink a few gallons of water this morning. I was over-served last night. Totally not my fault. The wife was not drinking and apparently I'm not nearly as funny as I think I am.

But you were smarter right? See this is how it works...

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, the slow and weak at the back are killed first. The speed and health of the herd keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

"In the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as its slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. Naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.

"In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Cliff Claven.

One of my favorite quotes. It's on the wall at the local bar.
At the party last night, they handed out those things you put on your head that say Happy New Year and hers kept falling off. She asked, "How are you supposed to keep these things on?" I told her to just rest it on her horns. She didn't find it amusing, but I thought it was pretty good.

So thaaat explains my rugged good looks, and penchant for making bad videos. All this time I thought I was to blame.

Speaking of bad videos

This was shot Friday afternoon at the field.
Watch the gear retract at .12 to .17 seconds.Oooooh baby
and no, I didnt beat the Border Collie for crossing the runway.I waited till I got home, then beat the wife, for the Border collie crossing the runway.

Holy hell you guys have been busy!

Managed to get her up for 10 mins today, flies beautifully! Looks pretty good too.

Now to bring this semi back on Topic... A question that has been asked a million times before. Next plane.

Parkzone Stinson Reliant BNF

Parkzone T28 BNF

or ParkZone Corsair F4U RTF

Decisions Decisions. personally I hate the T28 I think its an ugly arsed plane, however it is a great flier and seen as the next logical step for the budding RC pilot. Although I dont know if it would be healthy for my wallet to fly a plane I would want to constantly see burning in the ground.

Now the Corsair is one of my favourtie planes of all time. I love the bent wing, plus it comes with a DX5e that I can sell and use to fund my DX6i.

But just as I am about to pull out the Credit Card the Stinson Reliant, its just there looking gorgeous. I dont know what it is about that plane, I know I want a warbird I want something fast I can do snap rolls, yo yos, s bends, knife edges but then i see the Stinson just sitting there looking pretty....

Arrrggghhh Stupid planes.

I've got the T-28 and the Corsair, both great planes. I guess it comes down to personal preference. You won't be dissappointed either way you go. If you like the Corsair, I say go for it. Check here, they usually have some pretty good deals.
