The weather, YIKES!!!!

I just caught a newscast this afternoon of the weather. It looks like most of North America is getting a serious "Smack down" from Mother Nature. Looks like there is some really industrial strength snow and cold happening almost everywhere. No, I won't mention the weather we are having here. It would just get a bunch of people annoyed. Folks, be careful in this stuff. Mother Nature is showing some serious attitude.

Smack down x 10 my good man
We are ok with snow and cold. But this is 4-6 times the normal amount we are used to.
But we shall get through it. Always do
It is fun though. If it weren't SO windy I'd be out there now with the hydrofoam.

Stamp, even up in Canada the winters in Chicago are legendary. Yup, some of us know all about "The Hawk". The only thing I know of that beats "The Hawk" is the intersection of Portage and Main in Winnepeg.

LOL! I thought everyone in Chicago knew about "The Hawk". The best description I have heard of "The Hawk" comes from the late, great Chicago blues singer, Lou Rawls. He says and I paraphrase, The Almighty Hawk is also known as Mister Wind. In Chicago in the winter time, it blows down the street and all of the clothes in the world can't help you because it cuts through everything you are wearing like a giant razor blade.

Ahhh,
I see. Yes it is windy. But it's called The Windy City because of all the hot air the polititians blow out of their mouths and other places.

But yes...I see what you're saying as far as Lou Rawls
What a smooth voice.
