Fly within Mazeratti and Ferrari

Some time later we have flight on Mazeratti and Ferarri party:

Smolensk Race Circuit from hexacopter board on Canon 5D Mark II (multicopter.ru) (1 min 31 sec)

For me most interesting was flying over the real helicopters when they are landing.

That was awesome. Not much chance of getting permission to do that over here, lucky you. What lens were you using with the 5DII?

I came across a strange issue today. When writing values from MK Tool, the write says it's successful, but if I press "read" it recalls the previous settings before they were changed. I've tried changing low voltage, camera parameters, stick, etc. and when I recall it's as if they haven't changed. This is a recent problem, I have never had problems writing to the board in the past. Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue may be? I've verified this does not happen on another board.

Here is some raw footage of the first 5 holes of a local 9 hole course. I need some practice at this kind of shooting. Mid day would work better too.

I like it, does the job well. A bit of light music and maybe even a narrator explaining the holes and it will be just what they need.

MK 3538 Seize Up !

Hi all, the other day I was checking out my Hexa before a shoot and noticed a high pitched whine noise. I landed immediately and noticed one prop stopped as soon as the motors were shut down. When turned manually I discovered the motor was very hard to turn. I pulled the motor down to find that the stator had been impacting on the magnets and that the top bearing was rough. Is this common ? and should I now replace all the bearings to avoid a mid air failure ? Anyone in Australia know where to buy the bearings ?

Cheers

Maybe you got some dirt in there, have you tried cleaning all the bits or is something bent or distorted?
