My sister used to live in Greenland; she could report 2 things: Below -17C/0F no snow would fall - all moisture would have left the air. And lowest temperature in the country was around -50C/-58F........somewhere near the Thule US air base........
Mate here in Queensland Australia anything colder than +10 degrees C means the Doonah the heater and thermal underwear!!!

We get best of both worlds here -18F in the winter, and 109F this summer. Although here the wind seems to work opposite, the colder it gets, the harder she blows.

-40 (or more) C in the winter and up to 45C in the summer, we always have that insanely hot week where it stays 45C (>100F) for the whole week, only drops down to about 80 or 90 at night.

The colder it gets the harder it blows. Sounds like a job for a wind turbine.

This is my pooch, Luna. She's pretty much just a plain ol' dog. We got her from the shelter when she was three months.

If it's "a dog's life" then I think I want some of that! She likes chasing R/C parkflyers and r/c cars in the back yard. Sleeps good, eats good, plays hard.

Maybe we should do the same.
