I'm FAMOUS
I was hoping somebody would make a movie like that...at some point in the future Rasputin himself will deliver the toys, with Adolf as his co-pilot. History has a bad habit of forgetting the "bad stuff". Look up Joan of arc's sidekick sometime...

This is weird, a Dutch director made something similar about Sinterklaas (the ancient bisshop Saint Nicholas from whom you got/derived the word SantaClaus) which is an ancient Dutch festival in which he comes round with his black servants (zwarte Pieten, aka black petes)
and brings presents to children and if they have misbehaved takes them to Spain in his bag....

only this november ! the Dutch director made a film about a murderous demonic version of this kids friend....

Some similarity with the Finnish idea at least!

SINT trailer (2 min 3 sec)

Coïncidence does not exist in my book.

For those of you with historical interest in the fourth century Roman saint Nicholas, watch this film :

Nicholas of Myra.

Ya, I think it probably looks even scarier when you don't understand a word they're saying. It leaves too much to the imagination

KM

Etymological and language wise, Sinterklaas, Santerklaas, Santerklause, Santa Claus... From Dutch to English...

And now for something completely different:
