Ahh, the good ol days, when men were men, women were women, and planes were wood and nitro.

I wonder what some of these girls look like now?
Not that I look the same as years ago...

I seem to remember one model airplane magazine
with pics of a girl posing with a model plane.
It wasn't on a cover...someplace near the back
where they showed modeler's airplanes.
It looked like she was wearing nothing or at least
very little.
Hard to tell b/c the plane was positioned carefully!

A few of the RCM cover girls were Penthouse Pets.

Of course, my wife also liked the cover with Robert Conrad on it, so how could she complain about a few cheesecake female covers.

Might be, but the one on the September 1973 edition of Model Airplane News looks an awful lot like John Travolta in Drag to me.......

EDIT: Just realized someone else made the exact same comment on that page

Penthouse Pets wore a distinctive necklace with a "key" on it.... Yes, I had subscriptions to both magazines at that time..

I thought there was a dedicated thread on RCG for mindless political crap like that.

Yeah, you're right! How dare they sport an Austrians idea using a Danish cookie can. They should of course have used an Austrian one.

Bahlsen is a german company, believe me, absolutly no austrian company would put "11 leckere Kaffee-Begleiter" on any of their products, one of those differences between austrian and german language.
