Something that is going to take some getting used to is the rudderless part. I noticed on approach I was working the rudder stick; it's a habit now.

Donnie had put a bright yellow color on the nose and I like that for lining up the ship on approach.

I came home without a new scratch on my plane and I am pretty happy with the overall experience.
Glad you are enjoying the Polaris. The yellow is the way it came but I like it. Have fun it a great airframe.

B Don't sweat it. It all sounds good on paper, but I have seen you fly, and you have no worries.

JimA (unknown to him) USED to be my goal to beat. Oh he can beat me any day of the week, but I knew that because of work he couldn't make all the contests. So my goal was to try and beat him with year-to-date totals, but he was still too good for me. Since he is leaving, I have to think of something new to shoot for.

Yep, as screwed up a group as we all are with all of our issues and multiple personalities, "and I am just talking about myself" its good to be a flipper in Utah!

PS, anyone excited for tomorrow???? Hopefully there is a bit of a thaw by contest time, otherwise we will be standing on 6" of ice!!!!!

Jim, we usually allocate 3 minutes to each but it can be decided at any time and changed at the last moment.

Any Utah boys looking to try out making your own wings? I've got a set of SuperGee cores that I'll probably never get around to bagging. They're not in fantastic shape, but they've got the spars already glued in. If nobody is interested then I might bag them and give the wing to a newcomer.
