That's it Finch? By all the crying and sympathy notes going around, I expected it to be totalled.

Funny how the yellow tape makes it look like a crime scene. If it had been as bad as I had imagined, there would have been chalk outlining where the pieces were laying. That is a beautiful bird, even in a lawn dart pose.

I meant to say compared to George, Charlie, and Donnie... I know I'm older than all of them. Not sure about the others.

Hey Mike,

Just so you know, you were not the oldest. I know for a fact that one is my age. I won't say who.

Letter to Hangar Rash

Jim:

It was a pleasure to fly with you, sir. I absolutely love it when I see someone figure out the little secrets of the trade. I am hoping to see you once more at the BSoU, and many times after that.

Your basic launch is quite good - you have the smooth part down. Height will come, believe me. Practice like we talked about, especially turning either way, left and right. It's all about smooooth.

You're obviously having fun, and that's the real secret. If you ever find out you're not having fun, that's when you know something is really wrong.

Blue Skies forever.

Yours, Greg

Got Evans TSOL all better tonight. 250 grams prior to the repair, 251 after. I am guessing we put 1 gram of tape on. So hopefully no added weight!

Also got my new TSOL flying great today. AD helped me w/ CG and she came alive like a champ. She was way nose heavy and flew like a turd. She is now worthy of the TSOL name. Dang, thats a great plane for the $, you cant beat it!

Flew tonight @ AD getting things dialed in on her and it was 1:30 air everywhere. Well ok it was anywhere from 1:25 to 1:35, but what a great evening to fly!!!!! Perfect for trimming a new plane!

Thanks Jon for the repair lesson. I am sure I will be doing repairs of my own all too soon. I took the tape off this morning and it looks good.
