North Indianapolis indoor season begins 11/13 with 15 scheduled fly-in dates!

I'll be managing this year's winter indoor fly-ins at Roundtripper Sports Academy (RSA) in Westfield, Indiana (north Indianapolis suburb). We have 15 scheduled fly-in dates this year, all on Saturday night. RSA is an indoor soccer and baseball practice facility with a very spacious flying area at 130' x 150' x 35'. The ground surface at RSA is comprised of artificial grass. Below is a short video of the facility.

Round Triper (0 min 11 sec)

We kick off the winter indoor flying season this Saturday night at 8:00 pm EST. Most fly-ins end around 2:00 am or so. $20.00 per pilot at-the-door. A season pass is available for $150.00 (a 50% savings over the at-the-door price x 15 fly-ins). Spectators are free. No AMA license is required. Electric airplanes and electric helis (450 size and under) only. Newbies are also welcome! See the attached flyer with scheduled fly-in dates and my contact information, should you have questions. Of course, you may also PM me, as well. Thank you.

Come on down and join us and please bring your son along, as well. I've seen some of your son's videos and he can really fly! I bet he could show us a thing or two on how to handle a 3D foamy .

I added a short video above of the flying area. As you can see, it's a nice facility in which to conduct indoor fly-ins.

Yes, it is a very nice facility. If you like, you may PM me your email address and I will add you to our indoor flyin distribution list.

I see the Saturday event starts at 8:00 PM.
How long do the flying sesions last?
I'm north of FT Wayne and would like to make the trip worthwhile.
Thanks,
Richard

Edit: I see it now in the first post. "Most fly-ins end around 2:00 am or so"

Sorry!

Sorry!
Richard,

That's OK. Actually, I left last week's first fly-in at 2:00am and there were still people flying. I hear that things ended about 3:30am. So, yes, it will be worth while for you with lots of time to fly. Also, we will be getting started a little early tomorrow night....7:30 pm instead of the sheduled 8:00 pm. However, show up whenever you can. Hope to see you at the fly-in.

Below is a video of me flying my McFoamy during last week's first fly-in. There was a little break in the action and I had the entire airspace to myself . Anyway, this will give you all an idea of the nice large flying area.

How does the power situation look? I've got some nice HD multi-socket extension cords I can bring.

Perfect!
If I get my Pulama finished tonight, I'll be there and could use one of your extension cords if you don't mind.
Thanks,
Richard

We seem to always need more extension cords. So yes, please bring the cords along. Looking forward to meeting you.
