Yep, and it pulled a 5x10 just fine .

Now the 6x12 was a bit too much, which is why I have a Tundra now .

Funny you should bring up the subject of a kit. I'm currently building my first kit in over thirty years! It's a laser cut, 1/4 fun scale SE5a kit from FunAero. If Ben or somebody offered a nice ARF in this size, I would have jumped at it. But building this kit has had it's own rewards, so I'm having fun with it. It is a slow process with work getting busy and finding time for family, but I'm making time where I can.

IIRC you're usign a Turnigy motor on your Slick, right?

If it turns out to be a the ESC's fault, that will only make my decision easier to get Turnigy motor and ESC to put on the 68" Velox.
Reading all these stories about faulty brand names ESCs and motors, really makes you think.
