There's 2 types of low passes - Crazy. And 'suicidal'.

Crazy works for me

Suicidal ones end up with bits lying all over the place - and long walks looking for the bits that didn't "return home" LoL.

Then again, you don't have to be doing anything risquè to lose a plane. Watched in awe as my Katana decided to rip itself apart mid-air - albeit it suffered a canopy-strike. Never realised how much damage a canopy that basically weighs bugger-all can do if it strikes the tailplane upon ejection.

To quote Daffy - "Boy, when it dithintergrateth, it dithintergrateth"...

I'm a member of Keilor Districts model club as I fly large models (2m+) as well so usually fly out of there, although I am looking for a local park as well for those times I just want to fly something small and cant be assed packing the whole car and go to the field.

You close to Caroline? I might go for a park hunt one day and see if I can find a decent open area to fly the park models

No - but step daughter and the bosses grand children are; so finding a flying place is a fairly important part of getting dragged over there - I'm in Doreen - and a member at GMAC.

We got some pretty good paddocks at Melton ( hand launch only) to fly from. Enough room to fly anything.

Yeah mate we quite often get up there during the week as well. The Melton club used to be at Bullmans rd when I was a kid. The paddocks we now fly in are only a 2 minute drive from my place
