Not that loaded
Just want to maintain on Worlds top performance.

Sometimes I use different batteries and do not push her to the limit, with fast accelerations. Just during shows and special events, I take all she is able to give and you can see in the videos.

I also use two different types of fan; an old Byron fan adapted to electric and some other times a double 3 blade prop.

Best regards,

Carlos

07 of August 2011, Camoesas Hovercraft demo, in the 74th aniversary of the Maritime Museum of Ílhavo.
Click the image to watch a really fast and performing racing hovercraft model (not a ... toy) .

Another video, a short resume of the public event in the museum; Hovercraft, Submarines, Hydrofoil, sailing boats...
...And a burning 200Amp ESC in the probably fastest and most performing RC Racing Model Hovercraft in the World ()!

Hello all,

In this video you can see two more performance and visual effect unusual things in hovercraft models;

- You can see it stopping over water with no thrust as well no lift and... restarting moving without being flooded nor suffering from "hump" speed effect...
It is a racing hovercraft!

- You can observe in some close-ups, the realistic pilot moving his arms, driving the handle bar.

We are all members of the same local model association (T.E.A.M.) and we are used to do these kind of shows together, for the public joy and amusement. We are all friends, coordinated and trained and... I have some 20 years driving experience on RC Racing Hovercraft.

Here`s another run, all together.

Anyway, thanks for your advice.

Best regards,

Carlos

Thanks.

Sorry but I have no plans, it is taken out of a mould, from a "scratchbuilt" mock-up.
The closest thing I have to "plans", is from a integrated one (easyer, just a single engine), these construction photos of the Big13:

2012 Portuguese National Meeting by T.E.A.M.

2012 Portuguese National Meeting by T.E.A.M.

This year`s Portuguese National Meeting organized by T.E.A.M. at Gafanha da Nazaré/Ílhavo/Aveiro on 17 Jun.

In between all other nautic models, as usual in this area and meetings, my RC Racing Hovercraft performing to public (and sharing the same space...).

Another big advantage of Hovercraft; the ability to perform in salt waters without any kind of problems nor suffering damages.

And a video of the demo:

Carlos

Hi! I find your model truly amazing. I would like to build quite similar on my own, but a hybrid one, just like this one
hovercraft rc second test on street (CON COMMENTO AUTOREVOLE)ita (3 min 33 sec)
(electric lift and nitro for thrust, probably APS S61a). However, I don't really know what diameter should conducted fun and propeller for such engine have, the same with power engine of lift motor. The second issue is construction of the skirt, I don't know which one would be better for RC racing hovercraft: finger skirt or bag skirt. I would be pleased if you could upload a picture of your outstanding model upside down with closer look on build of your skirt(it seems to be bag type but I'm not 100% sure).

Greetings from Poland!
PS. I almost forgot. Could you also add dimenions of your model? Would be really nice.

PS2. Could you alllsooo describe what is THIS for?
