I'd race stock and modified both if there were more stock drivers.

Like you said not many race stock. Everyone is into mod it seems. My son did excellent until he got wind of the faster karts. He then had to do what everyone else was doing and go faster. I wish he would go back to stock. I feel he could handle the his kart better.

It must be odd to race in the same class as your son.

Robert what tires are you using for the track? I'm asking about Nashville. I only have one set and thats the set that came with my kart originally.

Its hard to say due to the ground temps K9. I currently have mediums in the rear and hard compounds in front, but as the cold sets in, I'm going softer.

On a ending note: You coming out Sunday? If you are drop a post in the Nashville kart racing thread. Trying to get a feel on who's coming out.

I'm working the parade with hopes of being off Sunday. I'll be there if I am off. If nothing else may pop in and say hi and check things out.

Warmer temps = firm tires. Colder temps = softer tires.

You must be new bro to the rc scene. Soft tires wear fast unlike harder compounds. Your telling us you have softer tires? Plain and simple they'll wear down fast.

What he's telling you is no different than Todd or I have told you. The tires we sent out will wear faster. The thing is, they won't wear that much faster than your stocks.
