Love it What kind of profile did you use?

The profile : A fairly thin section, the ribs started flat on the bottom ,I sanded the front up a bit and the last bit of the trailing edge.Aiming at a reflexed section I sanded the aerolons (6mm depron) from the underside in a curve right to the upper side ,the top surface staying flat, and I fly it with some up elevator. I hope this is some use. If I had known it was going to fly so well I would have taken more pics.

Cold wind and rain so back into the workshop today.I decided to do a second version of the sylph, somewhat thinner toward the tips and finer. It was straight forward and quick and this evening's test in crude state a success and a thrill.I only had twenty minutes in the drizzle so cant tell how it compares.I will post a photo of the two together. So ...after finishing it and possibly papering it I will try an even slimmer version as this shows no sign of instability at all.I can imagine it being made, and decorated, in a Chinese kite workshop! its that quick. I will try to do a sketch plan- it's a delight to fly ,and lovely in the sky,if a bit elusive,( and sylph like,)

Beautiful design. Cool that despite it being made from flat Depron it has an airfoil cross section.

Gorgeous. A real work of art.

I will be copying this design for a indoor wing I am planning based on the Parkzone Vapor brick. Though I will just use a single sheet of depron with no airfoil.
