Very nice!

It's a chrome paint called Alclad. To get the look you paint the area you want chromed with gloss black then you air brush the Alclad Chrome over the gloss black.

Thanks for the info.. Were do you get the 'Alclad' paint? I did the chrome work on mine by using the chrome foil from Auto Zone.. made a template of the shape and used several pieces of the foil and applied it to the foam.. So far it is holding up ok..of course, have only flown the plane once, but it was windy and this plane flys fairly fast.. (I am using a 4s battery!!).. I like your paint shceme..definately different..

Thanks, I searched on Airliners.net until I found a scheme I liked.
The chrome foil looks good also.
I got the Alclad at Mega Hobbies

Here's some more formation goodness with the TurboJets. I'm piloting the red-tail, Kasra has the all-white, and Karl has the stock-looking TurboJet.

Thanks to Eddie Lee for filming and creating the video:

Tape n' glue, Good as New!
Finally maidened!! My buddy Jeff B and I were waiting to maiden together. only I took my eyes off mine to watch his cause we were landing at the same time whereas I was landing in the field wheels up he was trying for ago on the gravel by the barns, so I had to have a look. of course mine plowed into the dirt! not too bad Broken fuselage halfway along with one wing. But tape and glue, should be good as new! Flew awesome!! love this Jet! very easy to fly, I think mine was a little nose heavy so will try moving the battery back a bit for next flight. totally recommend this plane!!

Which type of paint did you use to paint the white window frame for the canopy?

I used spray from Lowes - the Valspar Plastic kind. I've used Krylon, too.

Had a Dynam day today. Flew my Turbojet, Meteor and SR Trainer! Whoohoo.

If this jet is half as good as the Dynam Grand Cruiser, I'll be very pleased!

Thanks to a previous post by someone a few months ago stating that NitroPlanes was "hiding" the newer version with retracts, I decided to check on it. Low and behold....it is still true! I just ordered it http://www.nitroplanes.com/60a-dy893...-eretract.html ...and it's only $118! Also, enter the coupon code "pricepickle" for an additional 6% off. Is this a good day, or what

UPDATE! Order was processed and shipped. NP must have realized an error on their offering the version with e-retracts/motors/ESC's for that $118 price as that link that I used yesterday does not bring up the "deal". Should have it here in Alabama this Friday!

Bama: I've also got a Grand Cruiser (and another half dozen Dynams as well). I ordered my second Turbo Jet last week during the 15% off sale. At barely $100 for an ARF jet with twin edf's and retracts it was just too good to pass up.

I had over 40 flights on my first one when a battery failure resulted in a severe crash. This is really a nice flying jet and you're going to enjoy it just as much as the excellent GC.

I have the Grand Cruiser and I also picked up a Turbo Jet w/retracts when they had the 20% off sale. I was really surprised how nice it flew as this is my first ducted fan. It's as nice and easy to fly as the GC. Looks good doing it too and I really like the sound of those 6 bladed fans, they don't have that obnoxious scream like some ducted fans.

Kind of quiet in this thread...

Is that because everyone is out enjoying their TurboJet?

Wondering how many of you are running 4s with the stock escs and how they are holding up?
