New ducted fans with 8 blades rotors.

AEO series brushless ducted fans were updated to be new with the 8 blades rotors, blade surface was increased, and more powerful !

Check the attachment about the testing datas ,much more thrust provided than before(6 blades rotor)!!!

any intentions to make a 50mm fan unit? the Jpower 50mm edfs are a huge hit and are begging for a good fan unit.

Look in the "foamies ducted fan" section, Don has his Wicked series fan/motor units which you won't beat for 50mm retrofit.

Are these 'thrust' data generated by the traditional AEO method?
That is by pointing the fan's efflux.. AT.. a scale??
IF so then we needs deduct 30% .

Comparsions

How does this stack up to a GWS 40mm Fan?

I see your chart stating"""

11.1 Volts, 26.2 Amps 9.32 Ounces of Thrust @ 290 Watts

Compare.........................

GWS 40mm specfications """

11.1 Volts, 16.2 Amps 8.64 Ounces of Thrust @ 179 Watts.

Something seems to be amiss...

Is that 60% more current and .68 ounces of increased thrust?

Or 111 more watts and .68 ounces of increased thrust?

Something seems wrong - no?

I'm not seeing more thrust per rpm in your data for the 8 blade 30mm fan.

Your published data from the 6 blade was 55400rpm for 84 grams thrust. From this post: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1145323 I thought maybe that data was "blowing the scale". But based on this post https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1137767 the data is closer to "press the scale".

Chart in post #1 shows 56460 for 78 grams, more rpm and less thrust for the 8 blade?
