I see what you mean. Great action shoots. Again, these photos provide a good sense of how well these boats sail and that they are in many was, their same as the larger counterparts. (full size sailboats)

Thanks for sharing

Big Boats Rule!

Our new company 'mascot' went for a sail on my Frer. Everyone got a kick out of the life jacket I made with some swim noodle foam.
It is always difficult to drive and shoot at the same time. And I can never find another driver I like or another shooter I like. Oh well.

As noted in a different thread, the writer wanted "detail" on a boat so rather than clutter up the thread, thought I would add photos (from France) here on what the real meaning of "detail" should be when referring to an r/c sailboat.

The photos are of 1:10 or 1:20 sized off-shore boats with enough detail to wet the pants of anyone "needing" detail. These are definitely "over-the-top" but I would suggest they sail a heck of a lot better than some of the "Asian Plastic" we see coming in with "detail" but that needs to be "fixed".

Enjoy the workmanship (and size) of these.

OK, now that's what I'm talkin about! Thanks for posting these pictures. If you have more, please post them!!

Not everyone has the skills or tools to build something so fine as the boats pictured below, but can appreciate those that can. This hobby offers a wide range of choices for a wide range of people. My take on this is that the main thing is to enjoy what you have, appreciate the fine work of others and share as much as is wisdom has you can to those interested in hearing it. One other thing I have learned over the years is not to be judgemental. Folks don't care for it much if you are.

Boomer - "That" would not be my problem, as they are also (probably - and painted with a very broad brush) - the same folks who do not take criticism well, don't "like" to hear facts when provided, and only want to hear what they want to hear. From MY years of experience.

I would agree with your sentiment and add "whatever floats your boat"............

This guy is amazing. I bet he could build a full sized boat with no trouble. Might need a bigger shop though.

Thank you for providing this information.

Ditto .... Incredible passion, patience & skill !

Great idea of laminating detailed plans into the fibreglass layers for precision construction.
