Hello from Arizona!

Here's a couple of pics of my US1M "Double Trouble", a double ender design from Art Lent of Fla. I bought the boat ready to sail, but of course had to make some changes anyway... A fine boat.

Great pics! I especially like the two Seawinds trying to submerge or more like trying not to
They are pushing a lot of water over their decks. Hope the owners had made sure their boats were water tight! Seawinds seem to have a propensity for hatch leaks!
Thanks for sharing.

Thankfully neither of the SW's utilized the kit hatch--it's useless. And, for the record, the winds that day would be extreme for any boat with the exception of those with allowances for C sized rigs. Glad you enjoyed them.

I bet your boat likes the nice warm water! Some dicey manuvering to come about in your spa!
The boat looks good!

This is a Billing Boat's Dragon

I had to share these photos and invite you fellows to visit a build thread for this beautiful yacht. I was cruising the classifieds and found one of these in kit form for sale. If you'd like to see the ad and kit go to this link.

"This is a Billing Boats Dragon (sometimes spelled Dragen) made in Denmark.
Here is a beautiful example of a finished model converted for R/C. (Be sure to click on the links at the bottom of the page for detail photos and a great build thread.)"

http://www.kkoll.de/dragon/segeln.htm

Description from Billing:
“The first Dragen was built in 1929 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The sailing characteristics of the vessel were so fine that the boat soon was used throughout the world, and especially in Europe. As time passed, the Dragen changed gradually, so that today only the hull is original. In 1948 the Dragen became an Olympic yachting class, and all measurements have been standardized by the international Sailsport Union. Kit includes... wooden hull and wooden strips, stern tube with shaft, rudder, fittings set, sail cloth, rigging thread, ballast keel, plan and manual. Scale model of a Swedish dragon sailing boat. 1:12 scale Wooden hull. 39.37"H 29.53"L 7.009"W”

After 15 years sitting on my desk, I did a little rebuilding and here is my schooner model First Born back in the water. She was built from an Emma C Berry kit which I started 36 years ago. Thanks to my wife and daughter for the great pictures.
