Got mine a few weeks ago, and finally finished building it. (been short on time)

I may wait until my DragonLink arrives (if it does) to try a maiden flight. My Turnigy 9X V2 has some ridiculously low and faulty range

Here's some pictures:

Can someone tell me what the COG worked out to be? I had my fpv maiden flight today and it appeared to drag the tail slightly, I have it balanced on the front spar which is close to one of the figures in the manual (100 to 120mm) the other figure is 45 to 50mm I think which I presume is wrong. Its too dark to try again so I thought someone might have already experimented a bit.

Thanks

Mark

I know the tail dragging bit ....... I assumed C of G to be the source but I'm not completely convinced after playing around with it ...... meantime I'm flying my C of G on the front spar too ..... 45 to 50 no is a bit of a mystery - I just ignored it ....

I'm working on another direction but need some more airtime to figure if I'm on the right track ....

Hi Guys, this is the maiden flight, few things to sort out but it flew ok.

Using a 5000 mah battery, sk3536 1400kv motor with a 10X5 prop, frsky 7 channel receiver with ppm out and a DOSD+ V1

EPP FPV Maiden.mov (12 min 10 sec)

Well done ......

you have 50% more power used on take-off than my setup (from the recording data) .... I have a couple of different motors on order with an almost identical spec to the SK35-36 1400Kv so I hope it solves my power problem ..... are you happy with the power you have? .....

looking forward to seeing your AUW ..... how much does that lipo weigh and how far from the inside of nose is it located? ....

can you record sound? ...... on checkout flights sound is great to have available (to us ) ......
